Brief on Eligibility & Criteria for HDUG Membership
HDUG Membership:
The membership of the Hydrological Data User Group (HDUG) will be determined by the Government of Maharashtra. The members will be drawn from users of three distinct categories as listed below.
Category-I
Government Institutions
Apex level government institutions vested with responsibilities such as:
Second tier institutions (state, municipal or local bodies) involved with the development and delivery, use functions such as:
Category-II
Voluntary Organisations
Institutions or organization representing users of various groups such as Farmers association :
Category-III
Other Organisations
Other establishment such as:

Criteria for taking HDUG Membership For Voluntary and Other Organsations:
Voluntary Orgnisations
The voluntary organization intending to obtain Hydrological Data User Group (HDUG) membership must:
Nominate two individuals (one main and the other alternate) w ho w ill normally represent the organization in the HDUG meeting. These two individuals must be the whole time employees of the organization or at least must have long term interest in the affairs of the organization.
In case of large number of organizations showing interest in obtaining HDUG membership, the member secretary has the right to select members on priority based on his/her judgment.
Other Orgnisations
Establishments under this category intending to obtain HDUG membership must
